The Year 2 team took the audience on a journey across Te Waipounamu, our own slice of heaven!
We began our journey with the arrival of the early settlers - thankfully they arrived safely without any leaky boats! We then made our way across to Banks Peninsula and watched some pukeko stomping around it the wetlands. Next we were off to the West Coast where we saw some farmers working hard in the mud. I don't know where they would be without their gumboots! Now we were ready to see some sun so we headed off to the beach to spend some time with summer campers. Finally, we made out way to the marae where we enjoyed some wonderful cultural entertainment.
I am extremely proud of the hard work the Room 13 children put in to make our showcase a success! They were fantastic and it was great to see them smiling and having fun!
Thank you for coming along to watch us!!
